I was tasked with developing some explorations for a revamped main menu that enabled even more ad space (in this case, advertising the Roku City screensaver) for the home menu, while also preserving a simple and delightful user experience.
How can we advertise the Roku City Screensaver outside of the Theme Store buried within the Settings menu? Responsibilities for this project was to explore out-of-the-box UI options, visual design and content options. Presented to the SVP of End User Experience to kick-off the discussions of a possible update to the main menu and how a larger hero design format would increase ad KPI’s and provide a more immersive CX that’s delightful.
